How I Almost Quit — and Why I Didn’t

Scrabble letter tiles on a blue background spell out the phrase "I WILL NOT QUIT," capturing the spirit of perseverance and motivation.

Every entrepreneur has a moment when walking away feels easier than pressing on. Mine came one quiet Tuesday when the to-do list outgrew my optimism.

I had just lost a major client. Cash flow was tight. I questioned if any of it was worth it. But in that still space between panic and prayer, a simple truth surfaced: impact takes endurance.

I made one small promise—to finish what I started that week. Just one week. By Friday, a referral came in from someone I’d helped months earlier. That’s when I realized: consistency attracts opportunity even when you can’t see it coming.

If you’re close to quitting, pause before you decide. Don’t bury the dream—adjust the strategy. Rest, pray, reach out. Sometimes all that stands between you and the breakthrough is one more day of showing up.
